Well I've been gone for awhile, but I'm finally back. I have been living with family for a while and not able to use my iron. Every time someone had access to mine skillets they would either leave them dirty or use the old soak it method of cleaning like everything else.
However, I finally purchased my own house and am using iron as much as I can.
I finally got one pan seasoned to point that Teflon wouldn't be any better and have been eating a lot of eggs because it is such a joy to cook in a nice pan. It has basically become my breakfast skillet. I believe it is 2nd series #7 Erie.
Anyway, enough rambling. I don't do a lot of posting, but I am happy to be back in the cast iron world and enjoy seeing everyone elses finds.
