Is envious the same thing as covet? You know, about thy shall not covet anothers cast iron. :-/

I think this piece would probably hold ten pounds easily enough. And I think its a tad over 6 quarts in size. WAGS member Dave Smith, if you go to his website you will find a chart with the capacity for Griswold Skillets, Dutch Oven, Oval Roaster, etc. Its pretty interesting and worth checking out. :)

Because of it's oblong shape, crab legs fit in these great. I usually use a Magnalite oval cooker.
