I picked this up the other day. I have never seen one like this. Could someone help me out on identifying it.

I know this doesn't mean anything but it fits my Wagner No#1088 extra deep skillet like it was made for it. A very snug fit and it will work well with it. Thanks for trying, Steve.

This cover come from mid Michigan as a mismatched cover on a Griswold No#8 small logo skillet. There seems to be a lot of cast iron that came up this way and stayed because of the geographic location. Getting it is another story. There are two different views on it, the people that grew up with it won't part with it and the others that didn't and it was handed down and rusting in the garage.

If I would have bought this lid I would have by the looks of the rings in the inside would have thought it to be an Iron Mountain 8-),and by the shape of the handle thought it to be a Wagner 8-). So by my best guess you have a Wanger Iron Mountain it's a one of a kind ;D

I'm not that familiar with them, but could it be a McClary?
