Blue porcelain Favorite No#11
« on: September 25, 2005, 12:13:37 PM »
I have been watching this pan at the local antique store for about a year now and finally had to get it. I know it needs a cleaning but how much is this worth being porcelain coated instead of cast iron. Would it be more or less than a plain one?

Mark,  being coated in porcelain coating like that brings the value down alot.  and I mean alot.   So much,  that you better just ship it right over to me so I can make it feel better with the porcelain stuff I have. ;)   Just kidding. ;D   Being a #11 and you don't see them hardly,  plus being coated. :o   Pretty rare in my book.   I too would have to break down and get it.   I would put an Ebay amount of a good $100-150 on it.   I may be low,  but I am cheap too. ;D   Nice find,  very nice.

I've seen a few, but the porcelain was always shot. Not many around in this condition. This would fetch 150+ easy. IMO. Great find Mark. [smiley=yes.gif]
