No. 11 French Roll Pan variation
« on: April 11, 2020, 12:44:58 AM »
Since we are confined to home, I began looking through some of our cast iron, and I noticed that this French Roll Pan has a "D" on the underside.  Is this one of the 11 variations of this pan--I had never seen one marked like this before.  Thanks.

The "D" indicates that it is a Wagner pan. Griswold did not use letter designations.

P.S.  Should this piece have Wagner stamped on it anywhere?  The only lettering I could find was the raised  "N.E.S. No. 11" on the front divider and the stamped "D" on the bottom.  Also, I was wondering if this could be a copy because of the incomplete hole onthe one end and the rather crude finishing on the side.
