Didn't we see this thing recently? Looked like the handle was made of diamond plate and welded on? Is it yours, Renee?

It is to be mine, it's part of a group I'm purchasing from someone online.

Mark, I didn't see that post.  The photo I have looks much like, "the photos I posted are from the seller".  However for $40.00 for everything in the group, I don't think it's a bad deal what do you think?

Well it's hard to tell what else you have there..all depends on what they are. What are those two smaller items? And is that a lemon squeezer? Are there any markings on any of them?

Those two things at the top look like scale weights to me.  Overall, it doesn't strike me as much being there.  Just my opinion.

Well, the bottom line in collecting anything, is if you see something you'd like to own, and you get it and you're happy with it..that's all that really matters. Nobody ever got hurt too bad spending 40 bucks. I like unusual pieces too. That skillet is pretty beat, but the griddle and bean pot could be probably salvaged for use. The weights and ricer?..not very valuable but all old iron is interesting. I think you did ok.  ;)

Hello Renee. I collect a lot of different items too. IMO these pieces are not worth the forty dollars. No way, no how. You can do a lot better with forty dollars than spending it on this stuff. Please don't buy it. :)

Perry, I think she already bought it. That's the way I understood it..I could be wrong tho.. :-/
I agree with you..not much there. But hey, I spent 40 bucks on some take out food last night that is now sitting in our septic tank, ha. At least she'll have something to show for her money.  ;D ;)

The bean pot appears to be a lead melting pot, used by plumbers for soldering. You can check it for lead if you want to cook in it. I don't collect plumbing tools, or cook in them.

Some folks do collect tools though. I have seen pots like this with the original single burner "stove" to melt the lead. Don't even think about using one of those plumbing stoves to cook with. They work great for melting lead. Way too hot to cook on.

Well I was supposed to buy them but he never sent me an invoice so I have not bought them.   Although I already have a potato ricer and cotton weight and all those other items as well, it's not often I get out to find things and if I do "around here" just one item runs that high almost, if not I have to pay crazy shipping.  :-[
