« on: April 04, 2015, 05:55:03 PM »
I pick up this 4 in 1 today the top is 9 3/4" diam. and the Bottom is 10" diam. Red book says that is the size of the Lodge 4 in 1 BUT the top handle is 1/4" shorter than the Bottom one ?? :-/ any ideas why

Hi Ken,
did you figure your skillets out?

I was able to duplicate your image pretty closely.  Note the lower handle is longer than the upper, the eye of upper handle exposes about 1/4 inch of the lower handle, and the fit between the upper and lower shows part of the exposed lip of the lower skillet.

Both are hammered.  Top is of course a Lodge 4-in-1.  Bottom is the rather similar Griswold.  My Griswold is clearly marked, and if yours is not, it is a mystery to me.
Best Regards,
Neal

Neal thanks i was thinking that the bottom pan was Griswold
and the top Lodge. The bottom has quit  a build up on it and be awhile before they get there turn in the lye tank.
