Just something small that needed a new lease
« on: January 03, 2015, 12:28:38 AM »
While I'm beggering about with the Etna, and progress seems to be static, I stripped and seasoned my neighbours Ranzware copy and this old piece.
Seasoned with Flaxseed oil. it's slippery smooth like an eel :)

I have been using Sesame oil in my stir fry dishes and it appears to darken the cast iron up real nice, not to mention that nothing sticks.
IMO it is just the best stuff for omelets too :)

what an odd looking handle.
Ignorance can be taught, STUPID is permanent. I speak 3 languages, english, sarcasm, and profanity, and I am very fluent in at least 2 of them.

I agree Cheryl. It is also well weighted, nicely balanced and performs admirably. I am well pleased with it. :) :) 8-)
