Some Cleaned Up Iron....

Thought is was time to start showing some of the Cleaned & Restored Cast Iron,  I haven't posted for a while, so I have quite a backlog! 

First up is the Wagner 5 Star Skillet!  Came out very nice!

This one needed just a bit of tweaking, as it had some stubborn remnants of paint... Harry, it came thru great, no more paint hanging around... :)

  Thanks Cheryl, for posting the pictures. I really like seeing pictures of other peoples cleaned and restored cast iron.

Cheryl those pans look GREAT !!!!! I was going to show you folks some of the pans I have cleaned using the information I learned here but after seeing your cleaned pans I'll pass on showing all of you mine cause you all will Laugh. So it's back to the drawing board or should I say Lye tank and after that a swim in the electro. But I'm not giving up. I'll whip those pans yet. John S.

(from my stockpile of pics that I haven't posted in forever), and lots of iron cleaning happening right now!.

Here's hoping that we don't flood overnite... and get thru the next 15 hours of torrential rain, so that I can get my new Cleaning Station mixed and operational.... (see the Cleaning and Restoration board).

John, show us your iron!  You'll get the hang of it soon... it's a learning curve!

This is the another gifted to me by the same friends... I have them keeping a careful eye open for Cast Iron pieces for their buddy!
