"Sidney" waffle iron

I have  a waffle iron on high base, small wooden handles, and both sides  with only "Sidney" (in arc) on top ,  the number 8 in center, and around the bottom in arc is Pat'd July 26 1892.  There is NO Wagner name anywhere.  Can anyone tell me about when and where this was made??

Carolyn could you post a photo.  If only marked Sidney it would have been made by Wagner.
