Griswold step stool!
« on: April 15, 2006, 09:35:38 PM »
Does anybody know if Griswold ever made a step stool?  I came across a small 2 step stool with the word Griswold on the rubber step.  If so does it have any value to sell?
I can send pictures if anybody wants to post them for me.
Thanks

actually griswold did have a step stool but they did not make it.Someone here will know who did.Is in the blue book on page 214.They are more collected i believe for the hardcore griswold collectors seeing how they were not actually made by them.Book says 200 but i just bought one last month for 25 on ebay.So to answer your question I would say they are valuable to the right person on the right day but mostly not to much from what I have seen so far.Heres the on I have.

I think it was Randall who was involved in the automobile stampings business who made these stools.  Randall was one of the owners of Wager and Griswold when they sold out.

Steve is correct about being made by Randall.  They made them in 1,2 (like the one pictured) and 3 step.
