Enamel Skillet Bottoms

Hi! I have been acquiring some enamel Griswold pieces lately.  Some of the skillets have heat rings and some do not. Did Griswold coat older pans too? Since the enamel time from is from the 50's, I was wondering.  I would have thought all would be smooth bottom.

Griswold did offer porcelain coated skillets and covers and dutch ovens (maybe even other pieces) in the 1930's.  I don't know about before that or if there are heat rim skillets with porcelain other than the No.0 skillet.  The colors from the 30's are different than the later, small TM era colors of flamingo/cream and grey/yellow and a few other colors.  I'm not an expert on the enamelled ware from Griswold.  They even made a black skillet and cover c.1940?  I can't think of any slant Erie skillets that are coated but there might be.

Thanks! It is my no. 0 that has the heat ring. The others that I have are smooth.
