I didn't realize that Wagner,  GHC,  made this style ashtray???

Could that have come from another foundry and have been given to GHC as a sample of what could be produced?   Could the ashtray date from before 1969 which is when GHC acquired Wagner and Griswold?  Could it date to after (1997?) when GHC sold the companies which, apparently, it has done?

Another mystery that will probably never be solved without a box.   But Jenny and I thought it was different.
