Unusual #3 with very thin walls and maybe gatemark

I wonder if anyone else has found a pan similar to this one.  Its a rather strange #3 that I picked up in a box of junk.

This pan has very thin walls, appears to have a circular gatemark in the center of the bottom, and has extremely good heat distribution.  The markings on it include the #3 and "1P".  You will have to click the photos to see them.  I deliberately used high res so the images are as detailed as possible.

The 1st and 2nd photos are of the thinwalled #3 described above.

The 3rd and 4th photos are of the thin walled #3 beside a wagner #3 and sitting down inside a wagner #3.  As you can see, the thin walled pan is about 5/8" smaller than the wagner #3.

The last photo is of an 80+ year old #3 that my great grandfather used.  Its only markings are the curled #3 and two dimples just inside the ring near the handle.

Darrel, they both look like lodge to me.  Very old and finely cast lodge.
As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.

If you think they are Lodge, might be nice to have pics of these after they are cleaned up.  Pics would be good as an educational tool for identifying early Lodge.
