Birmingham Stove & Range #20 Cast Iron Jumbo Skillet

I can’t say that I have seen one of these before. I guess the seller hasn’t either. The starting bid is $1,195.00. The 75H marking looks like a legitimate BSR marking.

These are BSR....

About 1000 produced....

The 'HYPE' out in Spacebook land has folks believing that these are 'rare', but I disagree...

Age wise these are not that old!

You sure don't see these very often.  But what's with the heavy grinding in the center of the bottom?  As far as I can tell, there isn't anything there on an unaltered skillet to remove.
Best Regards,
Neal

Neal, I noticed that too. I was wondering if maybe the skillet was over-heated to the point of becoming  a "spinner," so it was "modified" with a grinder at some point in time to sit flat.
