Hello from the PNW
« on: June 24, 2019, 11:40:55 PM »
I recently got into restoring and using vintage iron, and I've been scouring local garage sales, craigslist ads, antique shops, and of course electronic bays for that hidden (or often well exposed) treasure. In my first venture into the wild, I naively showed up to an estate sale 20 minutes before open thinking nobody else could possibly be interested in some old dirty pans with a large griswold logo on the bottom, right? Well, I'm still learning and look forward to learning more.

Welcome Josh. A fun and interesting hobby for certain ! So much to learn, History wise, and as you go along, no doubt you will start to focus in your favorites, whether they be skillets, kettles, pots, waffle iron, etc...or as so often happens in this hobby... all of them. The main thing is have fun, and enjoy these pieces of History.

Greetings from Texas.
Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny.
