A present from an old friend

One of my oldest friends, former employer and business partner recently presented me with a long deep pan that he used to make etouffe.  I needs a bit of care and restoration but should be an excellent multi-purpose pan.  Any clue as to maker and approximate age. The only mark I can find is "1" beside one of the tabs.

I've got one sitting on my Sportsman Grill. Hard to date as BSR would use the same pic over and over even though changes had been made.
