What bases would fit these paddles? Thanks

Dwayne, there is a Griswold waffle iron bulletin in the pdf section on the members side that has a table at the end listing the bases for many waffle iron pattern numbers.

This one shows the 975 low, or 985 high base.   In the past many folks have said that the letters don't matter after the pattern number, but with the bases, I think your paddles need a 975D or later.  The shank rest is flat starting with the letter D.  I believe the earlier shank rest is rounded.  Your paddles would fit on it too, but I don't think that's what was supposed to be with it, if your shank has a flat on it.

By the way, I'm putting together some information that makes me doubt that all 975 bases are Griswold made.  If they have the Griswold name on them they are, if other initials or blank, they may not be.  You'll get a hint of that in an article that may be showing up in the next newsletter about the variations of the Andresen KornuKopia iron (I think I've posted most of the article information on the Forum, members side, sometime earlier this year.)

Also match the location of the locating pins on the side of the iron.
