who made this

Who made this piece, it has a nice handle , is about 10 inches wide by 4 inches deep? The handle sticks up quite a ways. The handle has a 3 on it. They did a good job on the 3. I don't know what to call it, a pot , kettle ? Will post some pictures.

Preston, I've never seen a piece like that.  There seem to be some early pieces that are just different and made in small numbers.  The handle is similiar to some skillets but no way to identify the pot.

Wow Preston, that's really cool.  It's almost like a gate marked chef skillet.  I've never seen anything like it before.
