I have taken a picture of the last few items I have cleaned. I am wondering about the Chicken Pan. It merely says Chicken Pan 8 with a 1034 at bottom. The cover is marked with 8.

Greg feel free to get rid of any of my pictures. I know I post a lot of them and they use a lot of space. Janice

Janice, that is an "Iron Mountain" pan and lid, made by griswold. What about the doughnut makers, whats the story on them? Also, nice pictures, as usual I might add. Nice sad iron heater too. And lastly where is Julie Gadgets at today, is she still working on getting stuff ready for the big sale?

The doughnut makers are made by The Ace Co. I had seen them on Ebay and now when I want to I can't find any. They will sell for what they sell for anyway. I left them until nearly last because of the handles and then I discovered they turn right off.

Julie Gadgets says she is multi-tasking today. Watching The Tour De France, blacking old stoves, getting mail and mailing out catalogs. The auctioneer was here last night to get a plan of attack on how this is all going to come out of museum. There are many wagons and buggies and we would like them out early so we can clean them.

We got a packet in the mail today from WAGS!! Very nice and thank you.

Julie bought the Chicken Pan at an auction a couple of weeks ago She makes wonderful fried chicken!! Haven't tried this yet, but we will. She paid $13 for it. She won't say what she paid for the DO she bought the same day. There is a lot her father in her!!  Janice

Janice, if Julie got that Iron Mountain for 13.00 she can buy cast iron for me anytime. Thats a very good price, lid and all to boot. Either one of them alone is worth more than that, easily and more so.

I agree that was a good price. What kind of pan can you buy for $13? What I am saying is she won't fess up as to what she paid for the DO. Her Dad did the same thing. I would walk through the museum and say oh that is nice, where did you get it. He would just grin and say I had that a long time. Right!! Janice

That would be a good photo of the Ace donut forms to have on our foundry list if it's ok with Julie.  You rarely see the large donut maker.

Hey T.C., Julie Gadgets is the daughter of Janice. It took me awhile to get it all straight. But Janice does the electro cleaning, runs the computer and stays busy, lately getting everything ready for the big sale coming up. Julie is usually out procurring new gadgets which she and Janice are always willing to share.
