I became interested in CI after attending a BBQ contest and visiting with a contestant who was using CI. I bought my first pieces a month ago in a local flea market. A #8 small logo Griswold, a #7 large logo Griswold, a 10.5” Wagner chicken fryer, a #4 Chicago hammered skillet, and a #3 Wagner Ware Sidney. All were already seasoned and in great shape, but I still stripped and seasoned them and now they look and cook even better. I recently bought a #6 Wagner Ware and something very interesting. A Griswold slant #9 DO with the name spelled wrong on the lid. It’s spelled “Girswold”. I understand some were shipped out with this mistake. I’m still trying to find out how rare it may be.
