A Pair of Lodge Turks Head Pans--one old, one recent
« on: October 17, 2020, 06:42:35 AM »
I like comparing old ci with more recent ci from the same maker. I THINK the more recent one is Lodge, even though I haven't found an example exactly like it. Closed frame with tabs and a raised "Y" on the underside of one tab, with no other marks. The other is clearly a Lodge IMO, open frame, raised "20" on the top of one tab--BUT this one has a gate mark. Apparently, some of these had gatemarks and later ones didn't? Didn't realize that, or am I off base in thinking this is a Lodge?
