Hello, my name is Jim and I am a new member from southwestern pa. I have been collecting iron for the last 11yrs. I got bit buy the bug when my grandmother passed away and we were cleaning out her basement and I found three Griswold slant logo skillets, #9,#8, #6. Of corse they were really gunked up and rusty but I looked at it as a restoration project, and a way to kind of have her in the kitchen with me and my daughter when we make breakfast together in the mornings!
Anyways I have been lurking around on here for a while and finally figured I would sign up. I am currently restoring a #8 Griswold waffle iron with low base. I just put the paddles in the electrolysis tank this evening!
