Hello from Illinois! The state with cheap taxes and honest politicians. My wife and I decided to get away from Teflon, so I dug out my iron skillet I stored in the garage 20 years ago. That was almost two months ago, I now have a Lye tank, electrolysis tank, more gas usage on the electric bill and 56 more skillets. Is there some kind of 12 step program for this? I'm reasonably sure I can't stop cold turkey.

You have a Super Serious case of CastIronitis, and in record time too! 

We can certainly help you!  (Find and want more Cast Iron!)  ::) ::)

It was that darned Electrolysis that got me hooked!

(Eight + years ago, and HUNDREDS of pieces later, says she!)

Welcome, Randy! I lived in Downers Grove, IL for about five years. I worked for a company based out of Peoria, so I was down there a lot, too. Nice state. Great people.
