While my main addiction/attraction is American Cast Iron, preferably cast before the early sixties, with special emphasis on bottom-gate pieces, I am not one to eschew the occasional piece of Magnalite. At last count, I have about 20 pieces of various sizes and shapes, mostly GHC, but I lucked into one actual Wagner Ware with a single W. My wife even picked up a nice long handled restaurant quality pot that she mistook for Magnalite. About 8 inches deep and 12 inches in diameter, other than not being branded on the bottom with the Magnalite logo, the main difference was the four rivets vice three securing the handle to the main body of the pot.
After extensive Google research, it appears to be Vollrath. It is great for chicken and dumplings.
And then there is LeCreuset and other brands of enameled iron.
The possibilities are endless.
