Wapak Indian #8 Restoration
« on: July 08, 2019, 11:57:20 PM »
I've posted this on other forums, but its so pretty I want to show it off some more. It's got some warp, but doesn't spin. This was one of my first attempts, and I was really happy to see the crud wipe off to reveal the detail of the indian and size emblems out of the lye bath. This was stripped, and then seasoned in the oven with crisco per instructions from castironcollector, then used to caramelize some onions.

Nice looking skillet.  You did a great job!

That is a true beauty
Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny.
