ID help. A grill? A broiler?

I saw this yesterday and took these pictures. Just curious if anybody knows who made it.

This piece is called a gridiron. It was probably made by a stove company that sold it with their brand of stove that had the slot into which the gridiron was inserted for broiling. While Blacklock has one listed in a catalog, the one you have here has fewer tines than the one listed there. I doubt we'll ever know who made these gate marked pieces, unfortunately.

Thanks Russell. I should have known that! My brain locked up on me! This one had a number on the bottom and maybe some writing on it. I’ll search around the internet and see if I can find something. Originally, I thought it was too rusted and pitted to be worth buying, but if I can identify it, I might go back for it.
