Is this a Wagner skillet
« on: August 13, 2018, 07:18:22 PM »
I'm stumped because the skillet does not have a size number on the top of the handle.  The bottom of the handle has the Wagner "triangle" where the handle meets the pan.

It is a #5 skillet, at least in comparison to my #5 BSR.  The only marking is the "z" near the hole in the bottom of the handle.

Does the outside heat ring indicate it is an older piece?

To me it has all the signs of being an older Wagner Ware skillet or a skillet that was cast using an older Wagner Ware for a mold pattern

I agree with Valerie. I have a #5 Wagner just like that but it has a "5" on top of the handle. The "Z" molders mark under the handle was under some of the newer ones. Not the right handle for a Vollrath :-/ :-/
