Found this today, but shied away...$24, very heavy, rough casting but with patina on bottom.

In order to provide information, pictures should show the entire item, end to end, including handles....  Both a top view, and a bottom view... :)

That is an interesting Popover pan.  Can't say I have seen that particular design before...

I would say it is currently unknown maker, and most likely earlier, pre 1900.

I would probably have tried to get the price reduced to $20 or less...  ;)

Thank you...

Any thoughts on the pan? The rough holes between the muffin sections (and the heavy weight) don’t seem to represent fine old iron. Conversely, the patina does look like 100 years or so...

I suspect it is a top or side gating, as I see some grinding marks on the edge of one of the handle areas in a pic above....

The Raised Number (size ) is interesting also...

There were just sooo many different foundries around, it is many time difficult to identify 'who done it'.... 
With a wide range of 'casting' quality, weight etc.

Other than the ragged holes, the rest of the casting of the piece looks to be fairly nice. 

Maybe someone else will stop by and give a shout if they recognize the design.. :)  I can't quite make out the Number on the Handle... :)

I'm still hunting for an elusive Martin pop over, but would need the measurements on this one to verify one way or another.
