determining manufacturer on unmarked pieces
« on: June 10, 2016, 01:57:31 PM »
I have several pieces that have no manufacturer marks, all of them are old, some say made in USA.  How do I determine what foundry they come from to determine their value?  Some of these pieces are really heavy, not like pieces made today.  Any pointers?

Pictures of the tops Including the handles,
and the bottom are usually necessary for us to take a look, and see if we can identify them.

:)

Welcome, Jeffrey.  Unmarked pieces can be some of the best pieces to collect and use.  My favorite user is an unmarked hinged double skillet, beautifully cast, smooth and OLD 8-)
