I guess no ideas? I was hoping the different shaped handle would give someone an idea. No markings on the bottom but has the heat ring.

My guess is for older Lodge pre-1920's
The good chefs never burn anything--we call it "culinary brown"!!

It's an unknown.  Lots of variations of these out there. Most likely made late 1800s to early 1900s. 
As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.
