Clark after digging and digging through these old post and i think i have read just about every page  [smiley=computer.gif]  on the public side and I'm still fascinated by all the info.   I find some post that I think should be brought up again because of the newer people that are on here Including myself and to see if you ''OLD TIMERS'' ( no offense)  ;D  still remember posting comments and to see how far along some of you have come along in this hobby [smiley=thumbsup.gif] I can see myself in 4 years with 4x as much thanks by being bitten by the CI bug but hey  I look at it this way at least it is being saved [smiley=biggthumpup.gif]

Not counting lids, I have 62 pieces.  If you want me to include the lids, I'll have to go count again.

And the ultimate turkey roaster I count as one piece even though it's actually 3 pieces.

In 2005, I had one cast iron skillet that I never used.  After all, it was heavy and not dishwasher safe-- who wants that?  So I sold it on ebay.

About 4 years later, I realized how great cast iron was, how much better it made the food taste, how versatile, etc.  And I realized that I made a mistake selling the one skillet I had.  So I vowed to stock up on as much cast iron as I could afford...

This is a good old post. Remember I posted that story. I still remember going to that guys house too. Back then I wore a suit a lot, people don't do that anymore, anyway, I had a suit on when I stopped at his house, and was wading through all that cast iron. The paths were just wide enough to get through. He had the dutch ovens without the lids, and then stacked them and had the lids off to the side, and just them alone he had stack and stacks of them.
