I know that aluminum is light. but this skillet weighs nothing. My wife thinks it's great. Tried bacon in it this AM, no problems at all. I wish it had who made it, but the only mark is the Cast Aluminum.

The handle gets hot much quicker than a CI skillet, and I believe it's hotter as well.

It also starts cooking much quicker than our CI pans. With my Wife, this is quickly becoming her favorite skillet.
