Hi all: Went to the flea market pond yesterday, threw my line in, and came up with an early Wagner Fat Free Fryer #1102A. Second cast pulled out a Griswold Snack Skillet #42. I got some info over ebay regarding the Fat Free Fryer, but could find nothing regarding the Snack Skillet. It is round and approx. 8" diameter. It has no pouring spouts, and has a small round hole in the handle. Back is marked with the late Griswold emblem (no Erie, Pa.). Bottom base of the pan is marked "SNACK SKILLET" and "42". There is also an "A" debossed into the underside of the handle at its juncture to the bowl. Anyone have any info about this pan and its relative scarcity/market desirability? Its certainly an oddball, and one I've never encountered before. By the way, the bait for each of these pans cost $10 each. Were they worth the price? Thanks to all and best regards.
