Don't these usually have four "corn cobs" instead of two?

According to the Wagner book, these came in two sizes, the two cooker shown here, and the four cooker like in the Book, but I have never seen a two cooker like this before either Jenny. Its that Julie Gadgets gal again. Julie, when are you going to start dragging out the ERIE number 28 bread pans you got? Surely you got at least three or four of them laying around being used as change (coins) holders. Men, you know what I mean, like when you dump your pockets out, you put your change into something. Show us more Julie, we want to see it all. Show us the worse piece of junk you got. (Watch, it'll be something worth 20K dollars that shes been feeding her dog out of)

[smiley=eek2.gif] Egads Julie, you are killing us with these never before seen pieces by me.  Everyone is drooling over these things.  You have a great deal of great stuff.  Do you have absentee bidding at the auctions?

Looking in my NEW 4th ed. Blue Book, I'm wondering if a 1430 consisted of 2- 1427 Krusty Korn Kob corn dog maker pans, and 1- 1428 (here to unknown) sandwhich fryer pan.  Kind of makes you wonder what a 1429 is.  Maybe Julie has two of those too.  I looked up the auction that they are going to hold in August and I think I may have to swing up that way on my way home from Chicago.  A little out of the way, but it would be worth it just to see some of her treasures.

The sale should be very interesting for collectors and for people that like antiques. About the only thing that he didn't collect much of was the nicer dishes, just had no interest and you need to know so much about them. I have spent 2 months in the museum cleaning and sorting and I still find things that I missed.

Does anyone have a picture of one of these for 4 corn dogs? I would like to see what it looks like. I have searched the net and can't find it.

Here is what the base looks like for the 4 dog.

Sorry,  mine needs to be cleaned yet.

I don't have any other bases that would go with this, so evidently it was bought at a sale without one. this may be a dumb question-but what was made in these?

Julie Gadgets, you ask what was cooked in these, we'll I'll tell you. Fresh sausage links, (such as Italian sausage links, cajun sausage links, and so many more) smoked sausage links, bratwurst, metwurst, frankfurters, weiners, coney stix, and many more, but you get the idea.

Yeah Will, I probably could have bid on but I didn't see it, or don't remember seeing it. They are nice, I'd like to have one. When you get tired of that one you can just sell it to me.

I think these made sausages in cornbread, much like the modern corn dogs. Will, I've owned and sold several of these and you got a great buy.

Julie and Harry, I've never seen the inside of these before, thus the name Korn whatevers, because of the corn pattern. It makes sense Harry what you say about cooking a dog encased in cornmeal, so it would make the pattern into the cornbread. I thought they were slick on the inside, anyway, they could be used to cook all the sausages I mentioned as well, a mulitpurpose cooking item.
