Cornbread pan 7S with star

[size=12]I would appreciate information on the age, manufacturer, value, etc. on this corn bread pan that was found in an antique mall down around Greenville, NC.

I picked it up simply because of the star or x below the 7S mark on the back.

I find them for $5-10 dollars clean em and get @ 17 to 20 if I'm lucky!

With the 'hand scrawled' number, letter and  '+' or 'x' 

I would date it mid 1930's, Red Mountain era....

Am I correct ... BSR made a 7S and a 7L. Small and large? Is that like the Wagner ware junior and senior?

If you go look at the ASW Catalog 3839, you will see that they actually made four (4) sizes. :)
