dutch oven. Favorite #0  A friend has this for sale. I have not seen anything like this. Not in blue book. The handle bolts on, fits into small oval indents on top of lid. Looks like it would hold about 5 quarts.  What would be a fair offer price for it?

I'm honestly no sure. They are pretty scarce. Would love to have one someday. If on eBay, I'd guess it would sell for $200+.

Hey Jonathon, I thought they should have a good value. My friend has stopped collecting and wants to sell his pans. I am helping him do that. He has had this Favorite oven for about 10 years and said he would sell it to me for what he paid for it, $120. That does seem a bit low.  I think I will tip him up a bit more for it then.   Do you know what other sizes were made ? I will have to have then all now. ::)

Helo JR. These came in sizes 0, 1, 2, and 3. The size three is the same size as the Griswold and Wagner number nine oval roasters. These came with trivets also. These were also made by Chicago Hardware Foundry after they bought the Favorite Patterns, but they are marked differently. Two hundred dollars for this number 0 here, put me down for a semi load at that price.  :o :o :o :o :o
