Value of #10 Chuck Wagon Oven?
« on: January 04, 2016, 10:35:30 AM »
What is the value of a #10 3 leg Chuck Wagon / Camp Oven / Dutch Oven with lid.  Just a couple crappy pics so far.  No cracks or breaks.

Your camp DO was made at the Wagner plant in Sidney Ohio, circa post 1960. In the collecting community these are not viewed as "true" Griswold items. Value is probably around $100, but every now and then one will go crazy on e-bay and sell for more than what they are really worth. The lid should have a 10 on it and possibly the Griswold slant logo based on when it was produced.
Harry.

Scott, This link is to a completed auction on e-bay for a 10 camp oven like yours. As you can see from the price I am either way out of line with my estimate. I don't really pay much attention to these pieces anymore but I had sold one some years back, unused with the original label, and it brought $140. The auction will give you a better idea of what someone is willing to pay for one. Check out the bidding list.
