 Wow, tough one Ed. The last #6 Griswold W.I. I bought was that very one. Going price on that complete is about $ 450.00. Without the base...I don't know...I'd say somewhere around $ 150-175? That's a real wild guess. I think, although bases are hard to come by, a Griswold set of #6 paddles would be worth getting, on the chance that some day a base will show up. I'm a bit biased, since I collect #6 W.I.'s though...I'm sure opinion will vary.  :) I did , in the last month or so, buy a set of #6 (p/n 305-306) paddles (no base), and gave $ 187.00, to give an idea what the market has been. Hope this helps.

 Ed, this is the base that would go with those paddles...it is pn # 970

Nice base Jim. Thanks for the info. Glad I grabbed these up, I do not believe they would have lasted much longer. They were in a pile of old tools n what not when I spied the handles. :)

 Congratulations Ed !!  Nice. I think the Griswold's are worth the grabbing! And Holy Cow, what a great cleaning job too boot!

WOW. I was with Ed when he got these. You sure did do a good job cleaning them Ed. I would not have believed they were the same paddles. Jim sell me that base and I will buy these from Ed.  :-/
