Tite-Top Dutch Oven
« on: March 19, 2015, 01:25:25 PM »
Sorry first time jitters.  I have a Chuckwagon Style dutch oven showing very little use.  It has the following marks  Cast Iron    Tite-Top Dutch Oven    made in USA    Pat'd Mar 16  20    A   The pot inside diameter is 11.75in and the lid outside diameter is 13.25in.  I know this is Griswold.  How much is it worth?

Craig, You must post photos of the top, bottom, sides, inside, outside, etc. We need to see pattern numbers and logos. If it doesn't say Griswold on it, it could a Wagner made after '57 with a re-tooled Griswold pattern. But we can't tell if we can't see.

Hello Russell. To be sure, even if it says 'Griswold' on it it still could be made by Wagner with the reworked pattern like you say. From just what has been said it sounds like it is a Wagner made piece. But yes, pictures will tell the tale.  :)
