Griswold hammered 2015 with 2095 lid, Chrome platted
« on: January 26, 2015, 06:08:26 PM »
Hello all. I am curious what would be the value of this set. I've searched for past sales on ebay for the numbers on the skillet and lid. The best I could find is a few different ones that sold for $200-400. The problem is a can't find another chrome plated one. Do you guys think the chrome plating will add to the value or make it less valuable? The bottom and inside of skillet should clean up good with most plating intact. The top is flawless.

Usually, the plating will detract from value...

UNLESS it is in perfect condition.

This one... hmmm.. not sure how the inside and bottom surfaces will clean up.. :-/

Yes it is a tough one. I certainly haven't seen another like it.

Post a few pics once you've cleaned them up, Reuben. Hard to put a value on it until then.  ;)
