Can anyone help with what this is? PLEASE?

My grandma has a cast iron skillet that appears to be a wagner, however the only markings are patten pending. She is 88 years old and has never seen one of these. We would really like to know what it was used for, who made it and the value of it.

Hey Richie..I've been looking for one of those. That is a Wagner "Gourmet Egg Cooker", also known as a Benedict Pan, for making Eggs Benedict. The center cup is for water, the square ones for eggs. Won't work without the cover though..they came with a glass cover.  If you have the lid, I bet it would go close to 100 bucks on ebay...without the lid, less. Let me know if it's for sale.  ;)

Thank you so much! Looked it up on eBay... Going for $250.00.with the lid. But  The skillet was not in as good of shape.She is not interested in selling it at this time...

Just looked at the one on ebay. 250.00 is a little unrealistic if you asked me. The last one I saw recently sold for 60 bucks without the lid, and that lid isn't worth 190 dollars. So I wouldn't pay that much, but I guess you never know.
