7 & 8 E.F. Co Pat'd June 10th 1879

I think this an Eagle Foundry Co.  pan. The first letter in the initials is illegible.  The pan size fits both a 7 and 8 stove eye. It's in great condition. No warp or cracks... but sadly it has fire errosion on the bottom. I can't find one that looks like this one online.

According to Nollie Neill ,  Glascock historian and decendent , this is NOT Eagle Foundry based on the same skillet found on  Wrinkled Treasure site

" Eagle in Greensboro did not start until 1889 / 1890 and Glascock purchased what was left when they went bankrupt in 1901, Glascock continued to make some of their hollow-ware for years, using the Eagle patterns.  "

Jason,

I think your pan is not E.F.Co at all. I think the first letter would be an "H".

H.F. Co. items were made by the Highland Foundry Co. in Boston.

You can see one with a clear marking near the bottom of this stack of pics in the Eye Candy section.

Thanks, guys! It's a beautiful pan. Thanks for the help identifying it. I fell in love with it when I found it.
