Smart Edurance Breakfast Skillet... Brockville
« on: March 28, 2014, 06:16:15 PM »
Picked up this little one today.  Just curious on value. I'm sure it's a Griswold copy, but cast by Smart in Brockville, Ontario.

Thanks!

I want less to do, more time to do it, and higher pay for not getting it done.

Hi Paul,

Smart did make quite a few items that appear to have used patterns made from Griswold or Wagner items. I have one Smart skillet I could have sworn was a Griswold, until I cleaned the crud from the logo.

I have only seen a couple of these on EBay over the last few years, and they went for around $50, if I remember right.
I think you should hang on to it. You will see a ton of Griswag stuff before you find another one of these.

Nice looking piece Paul.  I haven't seen one made by Smart before.
