Griswold Eccentric kettle
« on: March 09, 2014, 09:35:03 PM »
I bought what I was told is a eccentric kettle #8, The bottom off set ring ? has the #817 at the top of slant letter gris logo, with ERIE below logo and #8 below that. The kettle is about 10 1/2'' wide and 8 1/2'' tall,  also has a small ring hanging from one side
The inside of the kettle is pretty rough but the out side is in nice shape. kettle has no leeks
Any ideas, Thanks

Hello Gary, The blue book does show a side-view picture of a #7 eccentric kettle (p/n 816) on page 75, circa 1890-1905 and values the 7, 8, and 9 at $75 in minty condition.  Hope that helps.

Thanks Sandy, it's not in minty condition but kind of cool.
Thanks again
