WW 1097 shallow sk.
« on: May 11, 2010, 08:26:56 PM »
This one does not have the words "shallow skillet" cast in to the bottom like the others I have seen.  Any ideas on $$$ value.  All opinions welcome. Good or bad I can take it!  :D  Thanks... Ed

That piece is awesome!!!  I have never seen one like that before.  I have had a few that said "Shallow Skillet" and sold them for around $50 so I would be more than happy to pay extra for an oddity.

  Like my head!!  ;D
True Ckark and they show the single hole handle in the books and they all say "Shallow Skillet" on them. This may be later production??

Wish I would have bid on the 8 that you were bidding on after you dropped out. It did have "Shallow Skillet" on it. Smooth bottom also.

I have a 1098 I think.   I think it has a heat ring and is marked "shallow skillet"   One hole handle too.   Always liked the shallow skillets.

Nice pieces Ed. I also have one like you mentioned above. One hole, marked shallow skillet, #1098 but smooth bottomed. Like Will said, I have always liked the shallow skillets.
