Jacob
I have one exactly like the one you have, with an N on the handle and all. I have never been able to find out anything about it,although I never asked here, not even from Lodge. I sent them pics anc everything and they dident even reply.

I'm not gonna say what I paid for it so I can take advantage of Sam if I ever decide to sell it.

This one is different. It is about, I forget which, 2-3 more narrow than the ones I have.

It is also deeper, at 4-1/4" deep.  Looking at the underside of the handles, they look the same as on the 3" deep pan.  A couple of questions....what was the the time frame when the "egg in the skillet" logo was used (or is it still current on some pieces)???  I looked in my catalogs back to cat.#8 and only found the 20x12x3 fish pan (only in #8 & #9  not in #10, #11,#12, or #25)....does this 4-1/4" deep pan show up in any earlier catalogs????  I haven't looked at the pdf catalogs yet, maybe it's in one of those???  It would be interesting to know how long this was made.  Do you suppose it was the 3" or the 4-1/4"  deep pan that was rumored to have been made from the wagon mold???

It doesn't show up in any catalogs I have access to and they are all on PDF on this Website. I don't know the exact date they started making the "egg in the skillet" logo (late 60's I think), but they quit and started with their present logo in the early 90's. I would think it was the 3" deep was the one they made from the mold (if that's true) because the 4-1/2" is not wide enough.
