GRISWOLD LARD/GREASE POT P/N1482

Hi all, I have never come across one of these nor seen one pictured. There is one comeing up for sale and I would like to know more about this item like,Rarity,circa, and last but not least worth..I have no picture of this item and don't no what kind of shape it is in..But we all know where it is for sale at...Hint . hint...so I assume it is good to decent shape...

If I had what it went with, I might want it, no, I would want it, otherwise, to me, by itself, its not worth much, kinda like havin a cadillac hub cap, waitin on the rest of it.

Joe, no I do not know of anybody that has the other piece. And I couldn't swear to what it actually goes to. But, I THINK, this goes with a Griswold grill of some sort, to catch the grease comin off the grill, and to scrape the cleanins off into it, and therefore it goes under the grill in some fashion. I am askin, not tellin.  :)

I have seen about 3 or 4 on Ebay in the last few years.   One this year ended about $75     A few years ago these would bring $150-200   Market has taken a beating.

It is to a Griswold gas grill and there are two variations of that #1482.  I don't know which model it fits.  There are also others, different shapes and different pattern numbers.
