Yeah, the more I look into it, it looks to me like the BB is correct. Here's another example showing the lid well with the circular seal that doesn't encompass the ears as mentioned up thread. Looks like this lid wasn't numbered or marked in any way.

Its interesting that the lid has no pattern number.  I could not remember if they did or not, and I guess thats why Dave shows no pattern number for that lid in the blue book.

Here is the same DO lid style in the hammered series but they had a number.  Too bad this one doesnt match the skillet its on...... ;D  IMO, the hammered sets in chrome are dazzling in good condition and seem to be harder to find than the plain iron sets.
