great to hear from all of yall. Thanks so much for all of the kind comments, I am not deserving of it for sure. Yeah I met Greg at the LA convention a few years ago and talked to Troy so much I feel like I know him also. Yeah you wouldn't believe the looks I used to get when I would pick up a pan at a 65 year old guys table, he would ask me or look at me and say "son you know what you are looking at", "uuuuummmmm, yes sir I think I can figure it out" "Will you take $5 for it??". It was and still is very fun though, I wish there were more young people involved as that is the only way this hobby can even continue.
I have put together a nice collection as Troy said but I haven't been able to add to it much in the last 5 years or so. I been trying to sell it down and sell the common pieces and get it to a size that I can enjoy looking at it. Racing, college, work and women took over the collecting, she is very supportive of my hobby though. I literally work 6 days a week from dark to dark so I am hardly ever on the forum, I just jump on and put my 2 cents in when I can.
Yeah Troy I am down in DAWG country, actually live close to GATOR country living about 10 mins from the FL line but still in GA just barely, THANK GOD!!!.
Troy I still want to go fishing man if I can ever break away. Well, i'll stay in touch as I can.
